Small bag or large bag on Wizz Air flights
Passengers who have bought the cheapest tickets can bring on the Wizz Air plane only one small hand luggage bag free of charge.
You can purchase WIZZ Priority service to increase your hand luggage allowance to two bags. With WIZZ Priority the passenger can fly with small hand luggage and large hand luggage.
WIZZ Priority with two bags is included in the ticket fares “Pack & Save” and “All in & Full Flex” as default.
Wizz Air small hand luggage size and weight
Wizz Air small hand luggage size should fit 40x30x20 dimensions and weigh up to 10 kg.
You can bring a laptop bag, backpack, or bag as small hand luggage on the Wizz Air flights.
Wizz Air large hand luggage size and weight
WIZZ Priority allows you to bring on the plane two bags:
- small bag should fit 40х30х20 dimensions and weigh up to 10 kg
- large bag should fit 55х40х23 dimensions and weigh up to 10 kg
You can fly with a laptop bag, backpack, or trolley carry-on.
Additional free hand luggage on Wizz Air flights
Wizz Air allows additional items on board free of charge for all passengers:
- a coat or blanket
- mobile phone
- reading material for the flight
- for children younger than two: food for the duration of the flight and a foldable baby stroller or a small crib (can be taken until the aircraft door or steps)
- a pair of crutches for physically disabled passengers
Oversized bag fee
Passengers with oversized hand luggage will be charged from 30 euros to 60 euros per bag depending on how carry-on exceeds the size or weight limit. The oversized bag can be transported on the cargo hold of the plane.

Liquids in hand luggage on Wizz Air flights
Wizz Air has no specific rules for the liquids in hand luggage. It depends on the airport of your departure. Most European airports allow passengers to carry up to ten containers with liquids in hand luggage. The containers must have a volume of up to 100 ml.
Some airports have new security equipment and allow more liquids in hand luggage. For instance, if you depart from Helsinki Airport, you can bring 2 liters of liquids in hand luggage. It could be a bottle with 2 liters of Coca-Cola or another drink.
